Nicea

You've spent eternity/
serving your god/
his bidding,
his killing,
with one wing,
dipped in blood/

You were once
thought to be
wholy divine/
Now it looks
as though you've
reached your time/

You have been abandoned
God has cast you aside/
So throw down your praises
f*cking pick up your pride/
Lift up your hands
And in hatred unite/
Overthrow the lord
And his kingdom tonight/

/And the angels fought
while the foolish cried/
And The faithful praid
To a god that died/
and the earth was freed
From a lie that plagued/
And then we/
witnessed a perfect age/

the angels were spread
Amongst the universe/
And each found a world
for him to rule and curse/
Fall into the mindset
Of a deity/
take advantage of
Inferiority/

But for them awaits
the same undying fate/
Because The people saw
All the divine mistakes/
They Observed the words
That they were forced to take/
they saw all of the flaws,
And United the hate/

And the angels fought
While the foolish cried/
And the faithful prayed
To a god that died/
And the earth was freed
From a lie that plagued/
And then we
Witnessed a perfect age/
