Nice Things
Chocolate ice cream slowly melting
with taste most divine,
sirloin steak well matured frying
tonight well we will dine.
sweet songs from birds singing
greeting the morning sun.
bay mare with mane flowing
chases after the dun.
Mighty trees with branches swaying
give sheltering shade,
tender plants with buds opening
show glimpses of jade.
Puffy white clouds quickly scurrying
across sapphire sky,
sunshine downward is blazing
outlining shadows so inky.
Enjoying a kiss when sunbathing
held close in your arms,
to the top of Dunkery climbing
Wales through mist slowly forms
