Nezzy and Me In Paradise

Bare back home sweet home, snuggled up with my gal Nezzy. We whoop it up with revelry in blue and green pastures. Crunching apples and carrots - no more beggaring for treats. My former master nods, as we pass on streets of gold. She admires me and smiles, then gallops into time and space. No more barns, fleabag beds; No restraints — it’s the living end. Plenty of room to roam with friends. The muscles of this horse in full tide. My mane ebbs and flows so clean. My hooves like a clanging train. Snuggled Up with my gal Nezzy. Bare back home sweet home. 3/11/2020 Michelle Faulkner’s Some Paradise Where Horses Go Contest
