Nexus
This darkness
Deep inside of me
I fear is never ending
Consuming…confusing
A restless spirit
Looking for escape
From its own shadow
Searching…emerging
What light there is
Illuminates a path
Of self-destruction
Disturbing…lurking
I stand beside myself
Out of touch
With my reflection
Daunting…mocking
My soul surrenders
To the fate
Life has to offer
Waiting…aging
