Next Stop Mars

Watch what you say, watch what you think,
the ruling class has Kool-Aid, they want you to drink.
Do as they say, not as they do,
rules not for them, just me and you.

The politicians don't give a crap,
got your vote with a stimulus trap.
You must remember nothing is free,
higher prices and taxes, just wait and see.

They want us to fight and never unite,
the poor far left and the poor far right.
Think we are all a deplorable sort,
not up to their standards, we just fall short.

They preach the planet is headed for doom,
too many have nots and not enough room.
While they live in mansions and drive big cars,
they go to prepare us a place, I think it's called Mars.

This is superb political satire, Wren. And personally I couldn't agree with your more. These trillion-dollar giveaways are nothing more than traps to keep people more helpless than they otherwise would be. Joe Biden's gonna claim 350,000,000 dependents on his next tax form --- justifiably, the way they're giving away the greenbacks. Cheers, Gershon

"rules not for them, just me and you" Yep that's it! Now I know who's colonizing Mars!

Remember P.S. the words of Sir Elton, "Mars ain't no place to raise your kids, in fact it's cold as hell!"

Hmmm...interesting. I can't help thinking of Mar-a-Lago and the cost of membership! I enjoyed reading your piece, but I can't say it's my personal view of things.

Milton I guess you just have a better view sitting at Mar-a-Lago. Have a wonderful evening Sir.
