Next Season

Christmas has come and gone, My spirit's rather blue; How quickly the season's passed, I can't believe it's true As I store the decorations, My eyes fight back their tears; Goodbye for now, dear Christmas, I'll see you the following year

Thanks Tammy! I have a Nativity scene that I keep on display year round. In fact, it's been on display for at least nine years. Every now and then, I'll play Christmas melodies throughout the year. Thanks for the kind sentiments. God bless U!...Milt

Dearest Milton, what a beautiful comment you left me. Just needed to quickly stop by and say thank you. You are like family to me too, and have been missed. Life sure is one crazy roller coaster, and I hope we meet back here again in time, with spirits high. You remain in my heart. Wishing you all the best. I am hoping all the reason for the pain, will eventually show its reason and lead to greater joy in your future. Love & hugs, Shar xoxo

Tis the season. People are nicer around Christmas. Maybe we should celebrate it twice a week instead of once a year. I know the feeling. Undecorating is not near as much fun as decorating. God Bless. Vince

Aw, don't be sad Milton. There are so many wonderful holidays all year through. Of course none really compare to the magic and beauty of Christmas. A very heartfelt, but temporary farewell. As the years seem to fly by anymore and before you know...it's here again. Happy, healthy and wonderful new year my friend to you and yours. Love, Shar

I feel exactly the same way. :( It always goes so darn fast, putting the tree back in boxes is always bitter sweet. Blessings for the new year, Kristin

Ah, I don't see it as having passed just yet, at least not until the 6th of January, but I do agree with the feelings here and as well with Christopher's comments. Excellent writing. Michael

Well Milton I can't say I shed any tear for the most rip off time of the year. My wallet cried when Christmas passed but my spirit was enlightened. Your creative talent always astound me. You have a clever way to make words play and sing. Enjoyed the read.
