Acceptance is dire
I let this be known
my only desire
was to feel that I belong
The empty will devour
everything that I own
The silence gets louder
The longer I go on
It seems I must face
this world all alone
for I am no longer
the one headstrong
not a friend in the world
nowhere to call home
I guess this is not
the place I belong
there's nothing here
The love is all gone
so I guess I'll take
what's left of me
and move on
maybe the next life
is where I belong©
