Newborn
new suns kiss upon a lighted skin begins a life
with heart so light it cannot know
the weight of all the love that it applies
annex without exit tending every mattered soul
formed anew with flowers grown and
gifted from the depths of your unmeasured heart
a love expected, born in every new life yet to be
erasing older pains delivered by removal of each core
wherein the seed of you will now begin
this moment or the next, a happening
that brings us each ascending to the fore
and this is all we’ll ever know of love
