New Years Resolutions

new years resolution time is here 
and I am filled up with resolve 
this year will be one of positive change 
and my bad habits will dissolve 

I am feeling very determined 
to make changes that really stick
and not just for a week 
before I give them the flick 

and this time I'll be realistic 
about what I can achieve 
not setting myself targets 
that not even I believe 

so I am primed for great success! 
although I have some trepidation
because all my resolutions 
involve chocolate deprivation 

.... eek! quick! pass me the block of Whittakers before the 1st!
