New Years Resolution
Tomorrow is so uncertain
That you should live for today
Before Death draws its curtain
And takes you away.
If there are things you would like to do
Then do it now, before life is through.
Listen to Life’s music, hear it’s throbbing beat
Follow it quite blindly, with dancing feet.
Bring to the world much joy, and also have some fun
For little time is left, before life has run.
Enjoy the simple pleasures that our Earth has to offer,
The birds in the garden, the flowers on a tree
The glory of a sunset, and Nature’s harmony.
And last, but most importantly, remember to love
All the people on this earth, and the Creator above.
In another world and on another day, once more
We will meet each other, with a love that’s just as sure.
