New Years Happenings
Friends hug and make toasts.
Big bands play loud songs.
Loud parties get wild.
Fireworks fill skies
Confetti is thrown.
On New Years’ Day,
Parades fill streets.
Kids catch candy.
Girls twirl batons.
Later that night,
Lights go out.
People sleep.
New Year’s
Begins
Hope.
