New Year's Eve Reflections

Thanking God, on bended knee.
That I am still alive on the first
of January!

My grandson and I, have spent
each New Year's Eve together!

To top it off, in awesome, sweet,
California weather.

That's fourteen years in all, quite a 
awesome feat!

An alcohol-free evening but with fun,
plus a luscious pizza treat.

Blessed with progeny, that will carry 
on the blood line.

To this grandmother, is a blessing that's 
more than just fine!
