New Years Eve Party
Long ago
On New Years Eve,
My life was forever changed
Touched by love and desire,
As it snowed that night
So long ago...
By beauty so great,
I've never forgotten it,
And the best thing is,
That now I know,
She is fine and well,
And lo and behold,
She remembers me,
And now I can tell...
Her of why
My actions made no sense...
Human beings often illogical,
Some of us just seem so very dense
She knows the whys now,
And I thank God she does,
I am blessed it came to pass,
My mind is now relieved,
Before I've seen my last.
