New Years Eve In Australia

Hot summer, holiday season:
Shopping done, we focus on fun,
Another year is the reason.
Hot summer - holiday season –
Humid, cloud, ninety degrees in,
Hot summer, holiday season;
Shopping done, we focus on fun.

Thunder and  light’ning New Year’s Eve, 
Mingled with fireworks is showing;
Weather and sparklers interweave.
Thunder and light’ning - New Year’s Eve - 
Celebrate as the past we leave,
Welcome the future with glowing.
Thunder and light’ning, New Year’s Eve: 
Mingled with fireworks in showing. 

Midnight arrives, we kiss and hug,
Wish each other good luck and cheer,
Raise our glasses high, clink and chug
Midnight arrives - we kiss and hug –
Sigh sentiment, swat the stray bug,
Off to bed the first time this year:
Midnight arrives, we kiss and hug…
Wish each other good luck and cheer!
