New Year Hope

The bell strikes twelve for a brand new start
New year, new you, new change of heart.
The old year has gone, the new one is here
Let go of things you hate and fear.
Big Ben calls to all those near He has a message for them to hear. To walk away from last years dark
And see the new years blinding spark.
When you feel all hope has gone And the previous year has truly won, Keep looking forward and don’t look back
Only forward vision is what you lack.
So on this day that seems so bad Don’t dwell on what you lost and had. Think new year, new you, new sight
And step in to the new years light.
