New Year Goals
New Year Goals
I made some plans in 2014
to which my heart aspired
and here it is
the end of December
and I’ve not met the goals desired
A bit frustrated and a little mad
at myself… for I’m to blame
for making resolutions
that were unattainable…
this new year I’ll not do the same
The areas in life I’ll choose to improve
will start off with a few
As I cross one off,
the list I make, I’ll add another
to take up the room
When next December rolls around
my hope is to report some gain
and my wish for you
is that you can report
that you have done the same
