New Season
The clouds belch and
sky flashes its
touch,
Then the clouds
spread their dark
blankets
over us ;as the sky
shed cold tears,
These drops of tears
wash off the
dirt on leaves of
plants,
dusts on aluminium
and zinc roofing
sheets;
and the wind moves
speedily pulling
the roofs, doors and
electric poles,
whistling along as
the sheets drum;
and dusts swirl
round… dancing to
the rhythm.
A baby is born,
Farmers rejoice for
the conception
of this new born
child;
their expectation
turns to reality;
New life sprouts out
of the ground
As the ground drinks
out of these tear
drops;
Paper,leaves and
plastic materials
compete
With the tadpoles in
the rivers and
canals.
The breeze touches
my skin with
cozy soothing
hands, which is very
reassuring that a
better child is
here.
