New Math X a Equals Aging

You are only 21 once
You are only 22 twice
You are only 23 three times
And 24 by 4
Before you realize you are thirty
And next week 40
Taking the fast track to the rest
Of your life gets you to 60
Overnight
And at 65
If you are still alive
you wonder
Whatever happened to 18
When I was sure of everything
