New Light
10 years of my time has been wasted
which was once love is now a black wilted rose
it has caused pain double-sided
it's the only feeling that ever brought me to my knees
but while sitting and contemplating
I realized....
this awful feeling can be short lived
it doesn't have to be an evil process
pick yourself up and dust your clothes off
maybe I'll find a new light
a new set of hair, beautiful eyes and mind
we'll see
