New Light
New light shone forth in dawn of morn
And from its rays, new hope was born
A hope that calls for break of dawn
To light the bleakness in faint spawn
From yesterday without sunshine
The dawn has brought the sun to shine
In hopeful hearts there's always day
No matter how harsh is the slay
A bright vision calls for the glow
Of morning sun, amidst the snow
Even at times when nights are dark
Hopeful hearts call for sun to spark
So, by the light of morning sun
Bright hearts learned some ways for fun
Gone are the days of shackle-bound
For, in new light, a hope was found
