New Life Sacrifice
New Life Sacrifice
She knows she must
cut off their heads,
find feral nodes...
Slice youthful stem
at sharp angles-
Strip lower leaves
from fertile stem...
With new purpose press
deep in rich soil
and water well...
Clear cover dome -
half humid vessel
in direct light,
warmth by degrees
propogates life.
Afebrile thoughts rise,
resurrect hopes in the heart
twice the price of life.
