New Life From a New Life

Waiting too long feels eternal,
11 year mind wonders about
Wanting a book or journal,
Impatient without a doubt

At long last its here,
I am filled with joy
New sibling feels so near,
This time its a boy

Finally arriving within the noon,
White walls suddenly with glow
An awe fills the room,
Ready to watch you grow

Big heart in small size,
Your body wrapped in blue
Soft hands and closed eyes,
Finally I can see you
