New Leaves

With the break of dawn,
They arrive with a new smile;
Dressed in a million dew drops,
That rest on the magnificent green veil!
Providing lives to all on Earth,
We are blessed to have them as our saviours.
In winters, they freeze,
Wearing blankets of snow;
In summers, they beg for a drop of H2O!
Yet, performing their duty;
And when the rain comes,
They dance in joy and show their beauty.
In the spring, they give birth to many like them,
And many yet to come;
Yes, they are our Green Leaves
The true jewels of the Earth.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
