New Friend
A friend is someone you can count on, who doesn't expect anything in return,
Who cares enough to listen to your heart, and shares theirs in return,
Your time together is always valued even if for only a short time,
Because life is filled with so much to do, that moment with a friend clears your mind,
Making room for more, in your heart you'll find,
That the time you spend together God will use to define your life,
When you take the moment to care, he opens our eyes to see,
That when you reach out beyond yourself, in your heart God's planting New seed,
