new fresh start
grief closes her eyes tonight
angels keep careful watch
aware of her loss and their gain
sleep is a long time coming
so many whys and what ifs
weird since she believes in eternal life
but a loss is a loss, and this was her husband
rooster wakes her up with friendly crowing
she looks out to see the sun peeking over the valley
Feels God is watching her, granting her a fresh new start
Her life is different now, but it is still His life
She gets a new perspective, having had a bit of sleep
Angels fed her thoughts of her husband, which helped a lot
She smiles at her new fresh start
