New Day Thoughts
Why does a night that was so great
Have to come to a close
For when the morning light does break
We're off on other roads
The night we had now in the past
But lives in memory
A happy thought to always last
For all eternity
But now we walk this new day's path
To see what we can see
With a smile here and there a laugh
New day for you and me
