New Day Poetry
It's a new day, today, for writing
A day of new beginning
To start a visionary drive thru
New thoughts stewing
New ideas brew
Holding up, to spin a memory
Within mind, tenderly
Composing, rhyming, balladry
Inside cozy, restful, homey
I begin the journey
With calm and solace, high noon
Of quiet and comfy
The greatness of warmth tune
In a peaceful proximity
At the point, when tomorrow clocks in
Po·et·izing will be done, uninterruptedly
Then on ahead, never-before-seen
Brand new fresh, poetry
