New Day a New One-Act Play

Night looms day, black croons white to bloom
As new day dawns, expectant of curtain call
But old cast in same play rerun doomed
To reel off the same old B-grade stuff
Unless you dawn awake before morn
And draft new play, and fledge fresh cast
A new chapter, a new one-act play baked afresh each day

Hi John. I really like this. The end makes me smile, and I'm not sure why.
