New Day

New Day Written: by Tom Wright 1/29/03 As each new day welcomes me, and I've had more than just a few. I think at length how it will be, and in it, things that I might do. God, pronounces softly in my ear, calming words, that I need know. Dispelling doubt, casting away fear, my courier in step, both to and fro. I've felt His spirit embrace my cheek, saying, cry for the day, but never whine. Things, in life, can't be too bleak, as long as you are mine and I am thine.
