New Beginnings

Work done,
Journey ends,
It's time for me to make amends.
Crazy thoughts that force fed frown,
Have only led to being down.
No one, nothing, really there,
I came to think you didn't care.
I spoke, you heard, you saw my stare,
You saved me, proved for me you're there.
There's part of me I do not like,
How come you've never taken hike.
I now see the way I've been,
Today I'm more than very keen,
To be out there, chilled, far more light,
I hope this can make our future right.
