Like Bill I wanted to go back to your beginning Brandy. At first I thought this might be a true tale, but I see from your reply to Sara it's just fictional. I'm glad. I would hate to think you were unhappy. I'll be digging around your site over the next days and weeks, looking for gems. :)

At the beginning, that's where it all began. :) I'm not exactly sure why my thoughts or my muse decided to start in "Nevermore." With that being said, I'm happy; my sweet friend. So kind of you to read through my poetic whispers. You'll find many gems along the way. :)

Bill, I'm in complete awe with you reading my first poem posted here. The title has a Poe feel, of course, while the words are more emotional. They pull at the heart. I think we all can relate to this, in some way. Emotions are like string, you should always be careful when you untie them. I appreciate you and your lovely comment, my dear friend. Luckily, in this case love was not blind! Heart and mind are meant to work in unison...and a woman's sixth sense can be very helpful in a situation such as this. I hope since then true love did come knocking at your door :) Regards & Hugs // paul

Even though this poem isn't based on a real life moment when I posted it, there is truth behind these words. I was in a relationship that didn't last, and I am so thankful that I was smart enough to end it. He was Jealous and Controlling. Two very bad qualities to have.
