Never-Ending Flames
Oh, he that kisses my pale cheek,
And my scarlet lips;
And my raven hair he does caress,
Our love is fierce and strong;
Oh, come to me in dreams, in dreams.
Hearts and souls, mirror images of desire,
Entwined in never-ending flames;
A forever blazing inferno of love,
No two more linked, connected, alike;
Such great passion and sweetness.
And although he has long gone above,
A name engraved in cold stone;
Beneath the earth bones decayed,
We remain twin flames, burning;
For the soul, the soul never ever dies.
Oh, he that kisses my pale cheek,

And when my life is done, love,
We shall be again a matching pair;
And dwell as two flaming stars above.
