Never Will Death Do Us Part

Can you feel the black sand escape Through the torn stiches of our wounds? Oh how fragile is the dark! It fades, oh so innocent, with light's touch Like a child it seeks refuge. And still our ghostly arms reach out To feel, to grasp heaven's light. So weary our hearts have become That only doubt remains in our souls. The day will never accept the night. Take my hand before tomorrow does. The grave will pronounce us one And the dirges will play While the wind carries us away.
