Never Too Late

Do not mock the traveler who starts out late on her journey. She carries the burden of decades and the weight of missed opportunities. Her first step is as significant as yours was, but it costs her more courage to challenge her beliefs about who she is: it calls her entire life into question, and she wonders whether it is already too late. But do not pity her, either. Cheer her on in her quest. Tell her that growing is brave and beautiful, and that it is never too late. what great metaphor, Agnes. Love this one too. By the way, please tell your doctor sister for me that I hope she is not prescribing Prolia to anybody. My doctors refused to acknowledge the harm it can do some people.

My sister is an anesthesiologist, so no fear of her prescribing any meds. I am sorry you are having such a bad experience.

For me, your poem begs the all important question as to why we, as a society, set targets by age? Loved reading this - Thank you.

Thank you, Gary. Indeed, society's ideas about what is "old" are quite strange
