Never To Love

I never knew how much I loved you, Until we could no longer be, It’s just too much for me, I miss you, I need you, I loved you so, But for us love had no room to grow, We were so young back then, Always calling each other friends, But for me it was more, You were who I adored, Through it all, after it all, I always continued to fall, For your brutal ways, Your constant displays, Of affection towards others, I never faltered, Thinking our paths would not be altered, But I did not belong with you, nor you with me, For us love could never be.
