Never the Eyes Do Lie

In the clutch, her gentle touch, away from slutch, outside hutch
Bereft of words
But never the eyes do lie, beneath the blue sky,she and i

a garnet ring, on her finger that cling, like dove's wing, in spring, happened the most curious thing
Both feeling shy,
but never the eyes do lie, beneath the blue sky,she and i

The Bulbul song, prolong,in a day long, solace along
Overcoming acute nostalgia
But never the eyes do lie, beneath the blue sky,she and i

In hours of leisure,She is treasure,my pleasure, without measure
Kneading emotional flour
But never the eyes do lie, beneath the blue sky,she and i

A window sill, where i stand still,in April, with passion and thrill
Wilting like petals of tulip
But never the eyes do lie, beneath the blue sky,she and i
