Never Stray

The night is cold
dark, lonely
Whipping wind
moaning, crying
The words won't come
longing, waiting
Time is fleeting
soaring, decaying
Searching onward
evening, morning
Afternoons lazy
lounging, sighing
Warm soft kisses of the summer sun
My memories fading
blurring, smearing
But your face..... remains
refuses to depart
In my heart
pulsing, yearning
Present in my thoughts
running, racing
Your hands soft
roaming, holding
Never Stray
