Never Shoulda

I never shoulda listened to you,
I never shoulda shook your hand too
I never shoulda believed your words,
they were just too good to be true
Promising me everything I'd ever want,
if I just take out the trash every now and then
Betray a loyal friend ... frame an innocent
Get good at lying,
get better at double-crossing
Get schooled at stealing,
then graduate to killing
I never shoulda listened to you,
I never shoulda shook your hand too
I never shoulda believed your words,
they were just too good to be true
Now the devil's gonna get his due,
and my soul is eternally damned too
