Never Separate

As darkness sweeps through cobwebs, minds
No choices made, are mine to keep
For love is now to be defined
Alas, I now lie down to sleep

And here within my lonely bed
Your lovely vision now in view
Dreams come alive within my head
My hands, they reach to then hold you

Your skin, like silk, offers such touch
Your breath, sweet roses, I take in
Your heartbeat, felt, gives me a rush
We together, partake again

My dreams, alive forever, dear
When fast asleep, I hold you near

A lovely, romantic poem that speaks so softly, it's almost like a whisper not to wake her. ~ Carrie

I love this dream like poem and how its very vivid as I read. Micheal you have a trenmendous ability with words and painting a picture that easily takes hold of the reader and keep them captive. Love this stuff.
