Never Say Never!
"Bairn"
she said;
age lined hands
soothing my back.
Her laugh echoing.
"Never is a long time.
Longer still when you're vexed.
Tomorrow will be soon enough
For anger to wane. But don't spiel
out never. Because never; never ends!"
