Notes About The Poem

These are a few of my suggested nevers. I'm sure you have some of your own.

Never Resolution

Never Resolution
By Franklin Price
1/4/2017

Never tell one that you love them
When you know somehow you don't
Never tell someone you will
When you know right then you won't

Never offer help to one
And never make it there
Never voice your own opinion
If you don't really care

Never offer out your hand
In friendship you don't mean
Never say bad things about
Someone you've never seen

Never stand up for another's rights
When you believe they're wrong
Never harmonize another's tune
When you don't know the song

Never vote for someone
Based solely on their looks
Never believe all that is written
On the internet and books

Never look into the mirror
And dislike who's looking back
Never take objects to the airport
In a case you did not pack

Never look into another's eye
And knowingly not tell the truth
Never go to the gynecologist
To have him pull a tooth

Never start a never resolution
And not know where it ends
It could go on until you're old
and have to wear depends

Never show your face outside
After statements such as that
You should know that if you go
To hide your face beneath your hat
