Never, Never, Never
Never, never, never,
Conclusive word if ever
No way round it
Can’t be cancelled
Can’t avoid it.
Sometimes good
Sometimes helpful
Sometimes hinders.
Can protect us
Guard our pathway
But so precious
When God says it
As his promise
Safe to keep us
Evermore.
