never swapping mind for psyche
never mind the pain
never mind the nuisance 
never miserable, mild mind the persistent, pain 
never moist, menacing mind the postoperative, pleuritic pain 
never messy, mellow mind the powerful, pleasurable pain 
never me mind the popular, pleasing pain
