I thought I'll always love you...
No matter what you do;
No matter what you say;
You just cannot stay another day!
The world is big and wide...
Don't throw away your pride!
Be loving true and kind,
there will be a newer find!
I loved you and that's no lie...
My heart I will rather keep than die!
I have given it to you,
and you have held it through!
The time we spent together;
It feels like it was forever!
But now my dear I set you free;
This love was never meant to be!
My heart is locked up in a cell,
Goodbye my love and do keep well!
