Never Give Up Your Hope

Never give up your hope
Don't let go of your winning rope
When anger starts to hit you
Pray to the Lord so he can help you through
Try to be the best that you feel confident to be
Make the right choices and learn independently
When you feel that you need to talk about your frustrations
Just think of where you are and your destination
Listen to teachers, family and friends; take their advice
If you're unsure about something, just think twice
Your people are there waiting for you at the end of the race
They'll be happy if you're in first or fourth place
Be a role model, have the young people look up to you
Be there for them and teach them something new
Let them know that if they work hard they will make it far
And there is alwayz room for them to be a big star
Have your parents be proud of you when you succeed
And that you are always a winner if you lead
Always remember to never give up your hope
And don't let go of that winning rope
