Never Forgotten Memories

I walk through a drizzling day
with drops of rain on my face.
Like fallen memories
that have been forgotten.
Filling this open space
deep in my heart.
That has been locked
for many,
many-a-years
enclosed within all
my deepest fears.
But the sounds
of splishing and splashing
make such a calm tone to my ears.
Making me remember
those long forgotten years
with my friends.
A sharing relationship
never to be lost again.
