Never Forgotten
Never Forgotten
She's someones sister, she's someones daughter
though she thought they'd all forgot her
waking up next to guys she didn't know
head hurting from too many lines of blow
partying till the brink of dawn
wondering why her cars parked on the lawn
feeling like her life had been so unjust
the bottle was all she learned to trust
she could feel everyones icy glare
telling herself she didn't really care
knowing her boss was going to go beserk
it was the fifth time in two weeks she was late for work
scared she was going to get fired
she called in sick to get wired
this time she'd been in too long a roll
the drugs had finally taken their toll
at the funeral no one had forgotten her
she was someones sister , she was someones daughter
