Never Enough
For some people
Be it family or friends
No matter what good
You do for them
It’s never enough
You could be the person
Who takes care of them
And wants nothing in return
Instead of helping you
They’ll still do things that’s
Unhealthy for them and
Choose to not listen to you, but
As soon as they get sick
Or in trouble they’ll rush you
To pick up the pieces for them
Straighten out the mess
All the while putting you
Into stressful situations
You’re helping them not
Because you have to
You’re doing it from the heart
It’s funny, how they’ll hard
Time the one who helps
An lavish the ones who
Does nothing for them
Now you’re torn between
Your heart and your feelings
Until one day you say
Enough is enough and
Walk away, because
You have feelings to
