Never Coming

Never coming
We’re out here all of us wanting to be home
we’re going mad here
endless deserts
nothing but yelling
the wanting to see our families smiling faces
the fear in there eyes
the sounds of guns firing
the calls for help
oh god the guns
the screams of mercy
all of us don’t want to be here
we don’t want to be doing this
oh god the agony
we call put to you to be set free
from this hell
but you don’t answer
now were going into even more hell
oh god please stop this

My son is just starting in the army infantry. This brings forth my worst fears for him. Well written. Welcome to PoetrySoup. Click on an avatar or name to go to anothers poems. Leave a comment and that person will have a permanent link back to your works... Keep writing.
