Never Cease Dreaming

For how often, my love, have you wished To find someone full of charm To have them attached, and have them fixed And you secured in their caring arms? Twists and turns you have endured In a battlefield of emotion Always my warmth you can be sure Along with love and pure devotion Fear to grasp for eternity Makes one feel insecure inside You ask for help and certainty While dreams alter like the tide Once you gain one’s trust and love And throw away the rest You will be thanking the One from above For Cupid’s arrow in your chest All along the one you seek Has been present the entire time To forever keep your heart happy, not bleak And so forever you shall be mine
